It does seem to make sense..a new way for applying it and possibly better penetration etc. It still uses alchohol though..and I'd hate to guess what else.

I bet it'll actually do quite well. Probably 99% of the minox bought out there is bought by those unaware of Lipoxidil or Dr. Lee etc. Somebody in another forum posted about this nanosomal minox: http://www.divineskin.com/spectralDNC/default.asp

I think anything is better than nothing. I'd be willing to give the foam minox a shot in the hopes that my scalp would not be sensitive to the vehicle, as it is with most others...

I bet that this foam will have a lot of alcohol or pg. That is my guess. I think that I am personally better off just staying away from topicals.

Yeah, I agree with you blueshard. Topicals just seem to irritate the scalp in some people. I still believe they're useful for most people that don't have the kind of sensitive scalps that you and I have though...

I agree. Topicals are an excellent option in treating hair loss.

Just curious if either of you have tried any of Elsom's products..which don't contain pg or alcohol. I'm sure there could be something in them that would still cause irritation for some..and yet some of the ingredients can help deal with irritation/inflammation.

Or even Lipoxidil's latest minox product.

I tried the new minox for lipoxidil and it aggravated my folliculitis so I had to stop. At this point in the game I have decided not to even mess with any topical treatment because everything just aggravates my scalp. I love the lasercomb though, no irritation from that! Holding the lasercomb to my scalp for 10-15 minutes can be annoying, I will admit that.

I spoke to Joe Tillman from Hasson and Wong the other day and the topic of using topicals came up in our discussions. He said that Hasson and Wong generally don't recommend them because they can irritate scalp. Granted, they are a hair transplant clinic, but they do recommend the use of Propecia.

Again, I still think that for most people some topicals like Xandrox, Revivogen, the PPG-free minox, etc. can be very beneficial. Heck, even regular topical minox. has been PROVEN to be beneficial in regrowing hair.

For most people it makes sense to use them as part of a complete regimen that covers all the angles.
