Propecia - Sexual Side effects

I had been taking propecia for about 7 months now and had noticed a huge decrease in libido and the amount of semen that is produced when i ejaculate. Also i am having a hard time getting and maintaining an erection.

I'm at a bit of a crossroads here since it has done wonders for my hair loss and I now have a great girlfriend. I'm only 21 and my sex drive is really non negotiable, so since i have stopped taking the drug i have noticed my hair loss and massive shedding returning...

I was researching on the internet and came across this site

It seems that far more than the reported 2% of people are experiencing similar side effects, or perhaps only those that experience them are vocal about it...

Anyone else experiencing this? Also one person was suggesting taking something called Tribulus to counter the side effects. Anyone know what that is or if it is safe?

I def. got sexual side effects from finasteride but I didn't really care because I was treating my hair and that made me happy. I never tried treating the sexual side effects but I have heard good things about L-arginine. I have not heard anything about Tribulus.

I also read here on the forum about perhaps taking less than the 1mg per day of finasteride, maybe taking half that or a quarter, do you think that would work in alleviating sexual side effects?

When I was taking finasteride I lowered my dose because I wanted to avoid the gyno but lowering my dose did not do anything. I went as low as .5 mg everyother day. I have read of some people getting improvement with their sexual side effects with a lower dose. I guess that could be the next step for you.
