Hair loss prevention

Post by jamesbrownjr »

Hi,

im 25, im not going bald, but my hair seems a lot thinner than it was when 15. I was thinking prevention is better than a cure.

What treatments would be the best way to go for me?
Does anyone know anything about hairgenesis or Shenmin? do they prevent baldness and keeping my hair. I know its more difficult to regrow what is lost then keep what you have

Are there any treatments that can prevent baldness from occuring or slow it down dramtically

thank you
James

When it comes to treating your own hair loss I believe the best thing that you can do is some research to see what type of treatment regimen you think is best for you.

Having said that, Propecia is a prescription drug that can help slow down, stop, or in some cases regrow some hair. This drug deals with the DHT that is causing the thinning of the hair.

There is also Rogaine (minoxidil) which acts as a hair growth stimulant and can also help slow down loss.

Some people use other treatments such as the lasercomb. Others use various topicals with natural ingredients.

I would make a visit with a dermatologist to see if you actually have male pattern baldness and to eliminate other reasons that your hair may be thinning.
