First couple of Q's that pop into my head:

How much coverage can you get from one PRP session? I see they have to take a lot of your blood and not a whole lot of PRP ends up coming out.

Will using DHT inhibitors such as Finasteride or possibly in the future ASCJ-9 extend the length of results since they only last a year?

They mention photomodulation afterwards to stimulate regrowth... wonder if they're talking about LLLT.

Damn Vancouver all the way on the other coast. Good find though I'll probably fire off a few emails.

Looks like photomodulation is just a fancy name for LLLT. One thing though they say they take a small amount of blood to get the PRP when Dr. Greco's procedure says they take a large amount.

Hey Chore Boy! I see from regrowth that you are getting it done next week!! Awesome!!! I am so tempted to go for it too but am going to have to take time off work to do it so it is probably not something I can do till summer when I am off. I'm gonna have to call and ask about clinic hours, do they do it on weekends, can you have a consult and a treatment only a day or two apart (to minimize travel and accommodation costs, etc.). Can't wait to hear all the details but congrats, dude, on taking a huge step forward towards an awesome head of hair!!!

I think ppl need to calm down on ALL these treatments. Everything is THE next thing it seems. I can recall ppl asking if A&G would cause hair to grow on areas where the stuff might drip down, etc.

Over at HLH..right away it's called a scam. I don't believe that..but I wish there were a simple explanation for the pictures being the way they are. I did ask the Doc about them..and while it seemed he had a simple explanation for it..he wouldn't give one

Maybe chore boy can get something out of him/them.

I wish ya'll could have seen the AA regrowth pics he showed me... good Lord. And for the record, the questionable regrowth pic of the 26-year-old where the after photo looks grey/Dermamatched, I saw the original on him computer and it's much more believable... actually an appropriate hair color. For some reason the color looks grey when the photos were uploaded. I actually have a copy of the HTFI paper he submitted with the set of photos and even on here, the hair is blondish brown.

I have alot to post and will do so in short time. I think we might have found something real here (fingers crossed).

I saw multiple pictures... mostly of AA but there were a few MPB photos in there and I was convinced enough to book an appointment for next week. I wouldn't shell out that kind of loot if it didn't look promising. Unfortunately/fortunately, some things were told to me off the record and I can't really speak on them right now. I will say though that a few major names in the hair restoration industry have teamed up with him... folks that are unlikely to get involved in B.S.

Dudes, this tech is in the fetal stages and is exploding. I guess the sceptics can wait and see my result photos, done monthly.

Did you see any photos of diffuse thinning MPB? I am losing hair daily despite my best efforts to stabilize it. I was hoping the A&G would help with that and regrow some of what I lost but I can't seem to even get my hands on it. I would be willing to try this now as I don't want to wait till later when it might be too late to regrow. I am certain in a year or two the technology will be more mainstream but I would be willing to try it now. The fact that you are willing to do it is a pretty good endorsement because I know you really think things through and aren't likely to do something on impulse.

I don't recall seeing any diffuse photos but diffuse thinning is my major problem and he would have told me if I weren't a good candidate. He's a pretty up-front dude and didn't mislead me on anything.

seems like this technology would be very easy to mimic at home... dermaroller + blood + centrifuge = hair ? Although they have some kind of "matrix" or something that supports the platelets right? I still think it would be worth a shot without said "matrix"... if so you could do it on yourself until your hearts content.

Anywho, just wait it out. I'm getting it done next week and we'll see what happens. I do plan on using LLLT and probably getting back on Propecia while on PRP, though. Not sure what to do about TGF or EGF... last thing I want to do is inhibit my investment... hahah.

I might just stick with the LLLT and Fin and let PRP run its course. Then again... you know how I do.

Off subject -- Did anyone else see that L-Carnitine shampoo occasionally advertised on this site? I followed the link to Amazon and recall the ingredients looking alright. Guess it's SLS-free.

I'm new here and I have to say that this thread is very encouraging!!

As far as my story, I think I started thinning a little as of 2007-2008. I could never really tell because my hair would always be a couple of inches long and it would hide it.

I just recently shaved my head and have noticed that there is thinning and I want to catch it early. I wanted to stay away from propecia and minoxidil so I've been using nizoral a couple of times a week because of the following report:

She said to take pictures of my hair when it is wet (since its easier to see a person's hairloss pattern when their hair is wet) and to submit them to Dr. Greco via his website. She assured me he would take a look at my photoes to determinee whether or not I was a good candidate for this procedure.

Did you wet your hair before going in, chore?

I actually have two unopened vials left... took a week off. And no, they don't but I plan on telling them everything I plan on taking. I ran the notion of using a TGF inhibitor past the Doc yesterday and he said it sounded like a good idea so I may try it... probably oral Taurine and Activ M lotion/shampoo.

I really need to pinpoint my antiandrogen, though... thinking about low-dose Propecia or maybe just curcumin... I don't know.
