read this short article and there are some links that elaborate on it. this just yet again brings me back to the lasercomb

The second article reitterates the results Dateline found. If ya think about it, $600 ain't that much money considering what you'd pay for proscar over the course of one year. Besides, I figure the laser comb is much safer and non-invasive compared to Proscar which plays with your hormones and potentially can give you other longterm side effects.

The Lasercomb is not infrared laser light....it's visible red light and no more powerful than a Class IIIa laser pointer. I wanted to buy a Lasercomb. Instead, I bought a good laser pointer and held it to my scalp. It feels good to your scalp and sort of makes the hair stand up (like an electric brush would). I don't know if it would regrow hair or not because I felt silly holding a laser pointer to my head.

Some people swear by it, but I've never heard of anyone getting fantastic results from it. I've heard from more people who have given up on it.

I've never heard of anyone who has had satisfying results by paying for laser treatments at a hair place.
